Old Sloop Presents is an outreach project of the First Congregational Church, offering a variety of performing arts at affordable prices in a friendly and welcoming environment. We sell fair trade coffee and tea from Equal Exchange, which supports small farmers using sustainable agricultural methods. We also sell a variety of home-made baked goods, which are very popular with patrons and performers. Performances are in the church’s handicap-accessible Fellowship Hall.
All performances are general admission. Most performances begin at 7:30 PM and end around 10:00 PM, and doors open 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the performance. Performances often sell out, and it is advisable to get tickets in advance. Tickets may be purchased from the web site at https://oldslooppresents.org, from the box office, which is open during intermissions at Old Sloop Presents performances, from John Tarr Store in Rockport, and from The Bookstore in Gloucester.
