The Rockport Art Association and Museum was founded in 1921. It is a private, charitable, non-profit, cultural organization, dedicated to the advancement and preservation of all phases of the visual arts. We sponsor exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, workshops and educational programs for children and adults throughout the year.
Now in our 95th year, our mission is Art for Life’s Sake. The Rockport Art Association & Museum is open to the public from early March until the end of the year. We are housed in two historical buildings, with seven art galleries featuring our members’ paintings, graphics, sculpture and photography; and works from our Museum Collection of American Art. The Old Tavern gift shop has a fine selection of art books, cards, small paintings and sculpture. RAA hours are seasonal. Please call (978) 546 – 6604 for more information or visit our web site at www.rockportartassn.org.
