Gloucester Stage Youth Company Presents a Special Family Outdoor Performance of
A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.

The woods outside Athens are a busy place on this magical night! Four runaway lovers find themselves in the middle of a riff between the King and Queen of the Fairies, and if that wasn’t enough, a troupe of amateur actors are trying to rehearse a play. Between these unlikely groups flies Puck, armed only with a wicked sense of humor and a magic potion capable of making anyone fall in love with the first person they set eyes on. What could possibly go wrong?

Fusing music, dance and some serious comedy, this wonderful outdoor event brings Shakespeare’s classic to Windhover Performing Arts Center’s magical setting. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is presented July 19 through July 22 at 7:00pm and Saturday July 23 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Seating is general admission, runtime is 90 minutes, appropriate for ages 6+.  Purchase tickets on the Gloucester Stage website.
