Rockport’s 4th of July Parade and Bonfire, presented by the Rockport Firemen’s Association, is back.  The parade will step off from the Rockport school complex on Jerden’s Lane at 6:00 PM on Monday July 4.  The parade route will follow South Street (Route 127 A)  and continue along Mt. Pleasant Street to Main Street and through downtown Rockport to Beach Street.  The parade will end near the Legion Bandstand at Back Beach.  At dusk Rockport’s traditional Independence Day Bonfire at Back Beach on Sandy Bay will be lit.
