The annual Peace Fest, sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Society of Rockport, will take place on Sunday, September 18 from noon till 5:00 p.m. in Millbrook Meadow, Rockport.

The public is invited to a free afternoon of music by local performers, games, and art activities. A highlight of the concert will be the performance of the 17- member Cape Ann Big Band. Other musical performers include guitarist Steve Marchena; Joanne LaPlant and Mary McCarthy; Angela Masciale; Livin’ On Luk; T Max; Amy Lohman and Friends; and Eric Colville and The Selkies.

A Peace Labyrinth, peace pinwheels to make, the flight of an oversize Peace Dove puppet, and food and drink for sale will engage children all afternoon.”At 3:00 p.m. all who wish can join a drum circle–so bring your drum!”
