Art Now: Rockport

A LIVELY EVENT THAT MOVES BEYOND WINE & CHEESE (not that we don’t love wine & cheese) to offer a foray into the current art scene in Rockport. Meet five local artists and experience a showcase of their work along with an informative, fascinating presentation from New York-based Art Advisor and author Lydia Barry Kutko. Enjoy an upbeat evening highlighting a few of the contemporary artists who live and work on Cape Ann, creating pieces that speak to the world we live in. Right now.

DID WE MENTION FOOD? Well, we mentioned what would not be at Art Now Rockport. As for what will be there? Enjoy a local brew, a custom-made Art Now Rockport cocktail, and drinks of a non-alcoholic variety. A few treats, both sweet and savory, will be on hand. And we confess that we might even sneak in a little cheese, the selection courtesy of Rockport’s own fantastic food expert Brett Roeske of Lula’s Pantry. The event is sponsored and styled by Sarah Kelly of The Roving Home with a venue provided courtesy of lifestyle blogger Abby Cahill O’Brien of 5th Joy whose beautiful home is the historic former Rockport Lodge.

ART NOW: ROCKPORT is excited to present the work of the following Cape Ann artists: KURT ANKENY || RENATA FRYSHARA || BEN MACADAM || NINA SAMOILOFF || KAREN TUSINSKI.
