Cape Ann Symphony in Bloom!

Cape Ann Symphony’s Spring Plant Sale is set for Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fuller School, Blackburn Circle, Route 128, Gloucester, MA. During the sale hours special guests will share their gardening expertise and give tips on beautifying your garden with free lectures and demonstrations. Flower photographs and photo note cards by Sharon Lowe and Lynne Khambaty will also be on sale. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Cape Ann Symphony. A wide variety of plants in many sizes will be available including geraniums, hydrangeas, mandevilla, impatiens, dahlias and alyssum in large pots, small pots and in hanging baskets as well as tomatoes, basil and parsley for a vegetable and herb garden. All are locally grown. At 10:00 a.m. John Feener, Gloucester’s Tree Warden, will give a talk and demonstration in the Fuller Auditorium lobby about How to Prune Your Shrubs. At 11:00, Marthe Aimee will talk on The Language of Color in Your Garden.
