Local singer, songwriter, photographer and teacher Janice Fullman will offer a free songwriting workshop at Gloucester Music, 210 Main Street, Gloucester on Saturday, June 23, from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
Ms Fullman will also perform a short set of her original songs. There will be a follow-up session TBA. The workshop is open to anyone age 13 and up; some basic familiarity with an instrument is recommended, but not required. Ms. Fullman will be there to provide guitar and vocal back-up for shy persons.
Singer, songwriter, photographer and teacher Janice Fullman has taught songwriting workshops for teens, children and adults in schools and privately. She sings and plays guitar and piano. Her songs and co-writes have appeared on CDs by Boston musician Sam Hooper, and on the TV soap, The Young and the Restless. Ms. Fullman sings in the local area; recently she appeared at the Front Street coffee house’s “Original Music Scene”; at Celebrate Gloucester; and at The Landing in Manchester. She will be hosting an open mic session at The Landing on Sunday, July 8.
