Lanesville July 4th Extravaganza – July 4, 2008. 10 am- 2pm. Day starts with the 4K Whistleblowers Road Race and 1 mile Fun Run at 10 am, followed by traditional July 4th BBQ, raffle and games including a scavenger hunt, 3- legged race, wheelbarrow race and tug-o-war! The day continues with bike decorating and putting the final touches on the LEAP float. This is a fundraiser for LEAP (Lanesville Emergency Action Program), a group of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. 4K road race is $15 and includes BBQ and all games. 1 mile Fun Run and BBQ all-inclusive for $6.
