Museum offers educational programs for homeschool students
The Cape Ann Museum invites homeschool students ages 6-10 to join us for Meet Me at the Museum on March 13th and April 17th. These special programs will focus on the Museum’s current exhibitions as follows:
March 13th: The Paintings of Emma Fordyce MacRae (1887 – 1974)
April 17th: The photography of Eleanor Parke Custis (1897 – 1983)
Classes will be held in the Education room from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $5.00 per student. To make a reservation please call the Museum at (978) 283-0455 or send an email to Ann Baylies, Education Director, at annbaylies@capeannmuseum.org.
The Cape Ann Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is closed during the month of February, on Mondays, and on major holidays. Admission is $8.00 adults, $6.00 Cape Ann residents and seniors, $4.50 students. Children under 12 and Museum members are free. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
