Saturday, May 17 6th Annual New Year’s Rockport Eve Clam Chowdah Fest 12 _ 2:00pm Harvey Park (corner of Broadway & Mt. Pleasant St.) Restaurants will compete for the best Clam Chowdah in Rockport from 12 noon to 2pm.

A $5 ballot

From 11am through 4pm Strawberry shortcakes, drinks and popcorn, and N.Y.R .E souvenirs will also be sold. Games, clowns, face painting, sale of balloons will be taking place in Harvey Park along with live entertainment. Scheduled entertainment for Saturday 11am – 1pm Beatle Tracks – a Beatles tribute band which is committed to performing the authentic sounding music of the Beatles live in concert. 1 – 2pm Michael O’Leary with David de la Barre & the Stroms – Traditional Celtic Music.

2 – 3pm – Rockport American Legion Band – traditional small town bandstand music. 3 – 4pm Terrestrials – Contemporary wide-ranging repertoire of folk/pop songs to rock gems with some of their own original tunes. Will & Kitty Hunt, Janice Fullman and Fud Marro

Sunday, May 18 from 11am through 4pm Strawberry shortcakes, drinks and popcorn, and New Year’s Rockport Eve souvenirs will be sold. Games, clowns, face painting, sale of balloons will be taking place in Harvey Park along with live entertainment. Scheduled entertainment for Sunday to be announced.
