The Northeast Navy Pops Ensemble will perform a free concert at the Rockport High School, 24 Jerden’s Lane, Rockport, MA at 1:30 p.m. Sunday July 14th. The concert is part of the Rockport Navy Weekend, July 12th- 14th, organized by the Rockport Navy Committee.

The Northeast Navy Pops Ensemble is comprised of talented musicians from around the country and provides musical entertainment for audiences of all ages. The versatility of this group allows it to play a wide variety of musical styles, including modern and traditional concert band, patriotic favorites, and popular hits of today.
The Northeast Navy Pops Ensemble performs for special occasions throughout New England. Most notable are public performances during the holidays and summer concerts played for the local Navy and civilian communities.
Navy Band Northeast was established in 1974, and is one of 13 official bands of the United States Navy worldwide. Under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Carl Gerhard, the band is attached to the Naval War College on board Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island, and serves the military and civilian communities throughout the Northeastern United States.
