“Yokohama Lucys” play organ recitals in area churches. 6 young Japanese organist play free recitals in area churches. Programs are at Annisquam Village Church, Friday, Aug 21 at 8 pm, St. John’s Church, Saturday, Aug 22 at 7:30 pm and Ascension Memorial Church, Ipswich Sunday, Aug 23 at 4 pm. These women all have served as organist intern at the large C. B. Fisk concert hall organ in Yokohama Japan. The organ’s nickname is “Lucy” and thus the women call themselves “Yokohama Lucys”.
