Deborah Cramer Slide Lecture at Heritage Center

Deborah Cramer, author of Smithsonian Ocean: Our Water Our World, will present a slide lecture and book signing at the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center on Wednesday, December 10th at 7 p.m.. Admission is free. The book, just recently released, is the companion publication that accompanies the new, permanent Sant Ocean Hall at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., the most visited museum in the country with close to six million visitors each year. Cramer’s talk will focus on what we are trying to protect when we talk about protecting the ocean — and why.
