David Curtis will instruct an indoor two day workshop from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. this workshop is based on observing and utilizing the technique of Rockport Art Association’s finest painters, among them: Aldro T. Hibbard, N.A., Anthony Thieme, Marguerite Pearson, and W. Lester Stevens, N.A. Copying from the masters is a time-honored tradition in the art world, as students use their observational skills to emulate the methods of those artists who have gone before. Students will find that when they study how successful artists have created their canvases, their own work will benefit from that acquired knowledge.
