The Cape Ann Symphony celebrates spring with the Spring Pops Concert: Pops Goes the Wizard on Saturday, May 15 at 8 pm. The lively concert features such popular favorites as John Williams’ Harry Potter, Rodgers’ The King and I, von Suppe’s Light Calvary Overture, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances, Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, III. Principal trumpet of the Cape Ann Symphony since 2000, Mark Bacon steps to the front of the orchestra as the trumpet soloist performing Arutunian’s Concerto for Trumpet. The Cape Ann Symphony concerts are held at the Fuller Auditorium located at Blackburn Circle, Route 128, Gloucester, MA. Fuller Auditorium is handicapped accessible. Ticket prices are $30 for adults, $25 for senior citizens, $20 for college students and Free for children under 18 years old.
