seARTS Presents: “Remembering Fitz Henry” A Walk in Time & Place
Wednesday, June 27th at 12 noon, join Dr. Jay DiPrima at Fitz Henry Lane’s House on Duncan Point, Gloucester for a tour of Lane’s home and grounds, visit the statue, share thoughts and insights about this historical individual, then gather to continue the discussion over a dutch treat lunch at Captain Carlos’ Restaurant on Harbor Loop.
Open to all who have an interest in the life and accomplishments of Fitz Henry Lane.
Dr. Jay DiPrima, a performing arts teacher at O’Maley Middle School and adjunct professor at Fitchburg State and Endicott College, is working on an interpretive solo presentation of Fitz Henry Lane. As a work in progress, he will share some of his thoughts and insights into the process of ‘resurrecting’ an historical figure.
