The Cape Ann YMCA will sponsor the Run the Goose 7K Road Race, the sister race to the Around Cape Ann 25K Road Race. This course runs through the Goose Cove Reservoir on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2008. The race begins at 9:00am from O’Maley Middle School. Pre-registration is $16 and includes a short sleeve commemorative t-shirt. The Run the Goose 7K is also part of the North Shore YMCA’s Saucony Road Race Series which includes 11 local races. You can either register online at www.northshoreymca.org or call the Cape Ann YMCA for a race application. Race Day registration is also available beginning at 7:30am at the O’Maley School, the cost is $21 and includes a short sleeve t-shirt while they last.
