Cape Ann Museum presents tour of the sculpture collection
Join Cape Ann Museum curator, Martha Oaks, for a tour of the Museum’s sculpture collection. This one-hour program will take place at the Museum at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30. This program is free with the price of admission to the Museum.
The tour will highlight works by Charles Grafly, Anna Hyatt Huntington, Walker Hancock, Katherine Lane Weems and George Demetrios. Special attention will be paid to the current special exhibition of works by James T. McClellan. The tour will begin in the Museum’s recently installed sculpture courtyard and continue on through the Museum’s galleries.
Curator’s Choice Tours are scheduled for the last Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. No reservations are necessary.
The Cape Ann Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is closed on Mondays, and on major holidays. Admission is $8.00 adults, $6.00 Cape Ann residents, students and seniors. Children under 12 and Museum members are free. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
