The Gloucester Lyceum & Sawyer Free Library will present on November 15th , Thursday 7 PM in the Friend Room ‘Writing the Memoir: Challenge and Discovery’ Four writers explore the challenges of bringing their memories alive on the page. These writers have faced diverse challenges in their personal and professional lives, from 1950’s Kenya to present day Cape Ann. They will discuss transforming daily experience into art and the choices faced by the memorist. Author Susan Oleksiw will moderate the panel of four writers, which includes Lyn Brakeman, Davia Rosenblum, Dorothy Stephens and Pat Sylvie. Lyceum programs are open to the public and free of charge.
