Located in the heart of the picturesque seaside village of Rockport, Massachusetts, the Art Association is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony and/or reception. The award-winning fine art on display that surrounds your guests creates a unique and elegant backdrop for your special day.

The upstairs Martha Moore Room serves as an intimate Bridal Suite for the Wedding Party. After relaxing with a glass of champagne and freshening up, charm your guests with a grand entrance down the colonial wooden stairway that connects to the courtyard garden interlude.

Our Maddocks Gallery is often configured as a chapel (at no additional cost). Brides planning an outdoor ceremony can enjoy the security of knowing they have an elegant and accommodating “backup” ceremony space, should the heavens decide to rain tears of joy! The Maddocks Gallery also doubles as a rustic yet elegant space for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dessert stations and more. Our baby grand piano is often housed in this gallery, and can be used for playing or as a surface for gifts or photographs.

Our Hibbard Gallery serves as the main reception area, comfortably accommodating up to 125 guests for a traditional sit-down dinner (180 for a tapas/cocktail style event), leaving ample room for a band or DJ and plenty of dancing!

Both galleries are heated and air conditioned, and have modern rest rooms.
