Transportation & Parking Information
Commuter Rail: Take the train and avoid parking hassles! The MBTA Commuter Rail drops you off on the edge of downtown at Whistlestop Mall – just a short walk from the Motif No. 1 Day action.
Visit the MBTA website for May 18 timetable.
(Please note that express buses will be running between North Station and Swampscott on May 18 & 19 due to construction. The diversion schedule may be downloaded here.)
Parking: Parking downtown is limited and is metered 7 days a week including holidays. To assist with parking constraints and to make your visit to Rockport more enjoyable, Rockport has a satellite lot, the Blue Gate Meadow Lot, right off RT-127 which is FREE! Visitors can ride the CATA shuttle for a nominal fee downtown. Please plan your schedule accordingly to return to the Parking Lot before the Lot closes.
