Volunteers Needed for 4th Annual North Shore Arthritis Walk

The Arthritis Foundation is looking for volunteers to help plan and coordinate the 4th Annual North Shore Arthritis Walk to be held at Lynch Park in Beverly on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Help is needed with advance planning and at the walk. The Walk will be open to all ages and abilities with a 1 or 3-mile route. There will be children’s activities, special guests, and a fun post-walk party.

The Arthritis Walk’ is the Arthritis Foundation’s annual nationwide event that raises awareness and funds to fight arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. It is a tremendous opportunity to help improve the lives of the 46 million men, women and children doctor-diagnosed with arthritis. Get your company involved or recruit friends and family members to form a team. Dogs are welcome too! Best of all, walk in honor of a loved one with arthritis and know you’re making a difference by raising funds to support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.
