Free Outdoor Summer Concert Return to Stage Fort Park

The Free Summer Concert Series returns to the Antonio Gentile Bandstand in Stage Fort Park in Gloucester on Sunday, July 12. Free outdoor concerts are set for Sundays at 7:00 pm in July and August and a special Community Band Concert is scheduled for Saturday August 15 at 7 pm. at the Antonio Gentile Bandstand located in Stage Fort Park on the edge of Gloucester harbor. These concerts offer a wide range of musical styles to enjoy in the beautiful summer weather with a view of picturesque Gloucester Harbor. The concert series kicks off with the Compaq Big Band for an evening of jazz favorites at 7 pm on Sunday, July 12. Next the Summer Concert Series welcomes the rhythm and blues rock with horns of Overdrive on Sunday July 19 at 7 pm. Country and western favorites John Penny Band bring country flair to the Bandstand on Sunday, July 26 at 7 pm. On August 9 at 7 pm The Herb Pomeroy Tribute Concert featuring Donna Byrne and the Herb Pomeroy Band with Greg Hopkins will honor the legendary Herb Pomeroy. .The Cape Ann Community Band takes the concert stage on Saturday, August 15 at 7 pm for a special Robert Puff Tribute Concert. Robert Puff was the beloved longtime Gloucester High School Band Director. Local favorites the acoustic bluegrass masters Old Cold Tater wraps up the free outdoor summer concert series on Sunday, August 23 at 7 pm. Parking is free for all concerts.
