BankGloucester Kicks Off Their 125th Year by Donating $50,000 to Newell Stadium Project

BankGloucester announced today that they are donating $50,000 to the Newell Stadium Renewal Project being organized and coordinated by the Gloucester Fishermen’s Athletic Association.

Bank President and CEO, Patrick Thorpe stated ‘The Gloucester Fishermen’s Athletic Association has done a tremendous job bringing this vision of a new stadium to fruition. As a kick-off to our celebrating 125 years serving the Gloucester and Cape Ann communities, BankGloucester is proud to make a contribution of $50,000 to this worthwhile cause. This is a significant project that will benefit the entire community and we are happy to make this substantial contribution to support it.’

BankGloucester, a $180 million state-chartered cooperative bank, was established in 1887. The bank is located at 160 Main Street in Gloucester. BankGloucester is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Share Insurance Fund (SIF); all deposits are insured in full.
