Boston Singers’ Resource presents ‘Songs of the Sea’ on November 6, 2011

Boston Singers’ Resource presents ‘Songs of the Sea’ featuring singers Natalie Polito, soprano; Jacque Wilson, mezzo soprano; Daniel Kamalic, tenor; and Beverly Soll, piano. The program, sung entirely in English, includes British and American works that explore such topics as Sailors and the Lure of the Sea, Joys of the Sea, The Sea as Destroyer, and The Eternal Sea. Many of the composers and artists are from the New England area. An added enhancement to the afternoon will be poems read by host John Archer and an exhibit of sea paintings by recently deceased Rockport artist, Ivan Kamalic.

This inaugural program of the Boston Singers’ Resource Recital Series will be held on Sunday, November 6 at 3 p.m. in the elegant ambiance of the home of John Archer, 10 North Street, Danvers, Massachusetts. ‘Songs of the Sea’ is open to the public with donations at the door.
