The Cape Ann Symphony Presents
A Special Concert For The Whole Family
The Cape Ann Symphony under the musical direction of Conductor Yoichi Udagawa proudly presents the annual Family Concert on Saturday, January 26th at 2 p.m. The Family Concert features Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.. Actress and Gloucester native Heidi Dallin narrates Prokofiev’s classic tale of a brave and clever boy called Peter and his pursuit of the wolf. Peter’s story is told through an exciting narrative and stirring music. This classic tale for narrator and orchestra is a perfect concert for the whole family to enjoy and a great way to introduce young people to the Cape Ann Symphony. Conductor Udagawa has designed a Family Concert program to appeal to both children and adults. According to Udagawa, ‘Young people and adults too will be introduced to the instruments of the orchestra and to classic symphonic music through the entertaining and spirited Family Concert program.’ The Cape Ann Symphony performs at the Fuller Auditorium, Blackburn Circle/Route 128 in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The ticket prices for the Family Concert are Adult tickets (including Senior Citizens): $20 and Youth Tickets (18 years old and under): $7.50. Fuller Auditorium is handicapped accessible. In case of snow, the snow date for the performance is Sunday, January 27 at 2pm.
