Farmers Market returns in July

The Cape Ann Farmers Market returns to Harbor Loop once again this
summer, with new events and activities planned for patrons of all ages.
Starting on July 10, the market will run from 3:30-6:30 p.m. every
Thursday until October 9.

A popular venue for locally grown fruits and vegetables, the Cape Ann
Farmers market also provides educational opportunities, as well as
entertainment. Children’s activities are planned for 4-4:45 p.m. every
Thursday, with featured musicians performing during the following 4:45-6
p.m. time slot. There will also be a weekly array of rotating
educational groups and materials covering such topics as alternative
energy, back yard vegetable growing, sustainable living and our local
fishing industry.

In addition to this, artists and crafters from the area will be on hand
displaying their wares; with other stands featuring locally produced
baked goods, tea, coffee, sandwiches, fresh fish and locally grown
fruits and vegetables.
