The 6th Annual BankGloucester Holiday Basketball Tournament will be held on December 28th and 29th in the Benjamin A. Smith Fieldhouse at Gloucester High School.

Teams participating in this year’s tournament are: Manchester Essex High School; Rockport High School; Hamilton Wenham Regional High School and Gloucester High School. Two games will be played each night at 6:00 and 7:30PM. Semi-finals are played on Wednesday evening and the consolation and championship games will be played on Thursday evening.

This event is made possible by a generous donation from BankGloucester that covers the expenses for, but not limited to, referees’ fees, T-shirts given to all players and trophies for the winners.

Booster member Tim Philpott had this to say in regards to BankGloucester’s donation, ‘The boy’s basketball program is grateful to BankGloucester for its continued sponsorship of the Annual Holiday Tournament. The tournament usually brings the season’s best attendance and the monies we raise via the concession and 50/50 raffle is crucial to covering the programs expenses.’
