Free February Vacation Events Hosted by Cape Ann Families

Gloucester, MA ‘ Cape Ann Families, a family support and education program of Wellspring House, will host the following free, family events during the February School Vacation. Wonders of the Earth- Science Fun!
Tuesday, February 19th, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

A hands-on science event for kids and adults led by John Madama, Gloucester science specialist. Explore fossils and minerals he’s collected from around the world’a great mix of science and storytelling!

Get Down and Hip Hop
Thursday, February 21st, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Ages9-14)
An introduction to Hip-Hop dance, led by Lindsay Norton a fitness and dance instructor. Kids and Grown-ups: show us your moves and learn some new ones as we groove together for a professional hip hop class. Space is limited- RSVP is required by February 18th.

Caribbean Carnival
Sunday, February 24th, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Escape the winter blues and join us for a Caribbean style celebration featuring live Latin Band, Grupo Fantasia, A Limbo Contest, Great Games and Creative Kids Crafts.

All events will be held at 28 Emerson Avenue in Gloucester
