GAS PRICES UNCHANGED, SAYS AAA

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts remain the same as last week, according to AAA Northeast.

AAA’s June 8th survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.66 per gallon, the same as last week. Prices locally are two cents higher than a month ago. The current price is nine cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.75. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 98 cents higher at $3.64.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 33 cents, from a low of $2.56 to a high of $2.89. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up ‘ every trip, every time.

$2.859 ($2.739-$3.099) Midgrade Unleaded

$2.979 ($2.839-$3.299) Premium Unleaded

$3.019 ($2.799-$3.599) Diesel
