Guided tours of the Captain Elias Davis House, an 1804 Federal style house with period furnishings, will be offered three times a day on three Saturdays in December. Tours will be given at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on December 3, December 10, and December 17. Tours are included with the price of Museum admission, with the exception of December 10 when entrance to the Museum is free as part of the Middle Street Walk. The house will be decorated in holiday fare by the Cape Ann Garden Club, the Gloucester Garden Club and the Gloucester Civic and Garden Council for the Middle Street Walk and throughout the holiday season.
The Cape Ann Historical Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. During the month of January, the Museum is free to Cape Ann residents. The Museum is closed during the month of February, on Mondays and on major holidays. Admission is $6.50 adults, $6.00 seniors, $4.50 students, children under 6 and Museum members are free.
