Italian Splendor Kicks Off 54th Cape Ann Symphony Season

The Cape Ann Symphony under the musical direction of Conductor Yoichi

Udagawa kicks off the orchestra’s 54th concert season on Saturday, September

24th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 25th at 2 p.m. The Italian Splendor

Concert features the celebrated Italian composers Rossini, Respighi and

Leoncavallo. Trumpet soloists and longtime Cape Ann Symphony orchestra

members Robert Bradshaw and Mark Bacon step to the front of the orchestra as

soloists in Vivaldi’s spirited Concerto for Two Trumpets. The Cape Ann

Symphony concerts are held at the Fuller Auditorium, Blackburn Circle/Route

128 in Gloucester, MA. Ticket prices are $25.00 for adults, $20 for senior

citizens over 65 years of age, $20 for college students and FREE for
