“This was fabulous!”; “I want this more than 1x a month.” “Beverly is the new Shoo.” Live Jazz Sessions at Chianti Jazz Lounge in Beverly were a huge success at the premiere on December 4th. Professional musicians as well as students graced the stage in the first of a series of Live Jazz Sessions. The sessions continue at Chianti Jazz Lounge, Beverly, MA., Sunday, December 4, 2011, 3:00 p.m. ‘ 6:00 p.m. We invite the curious jazz novice as well as the aficionado. All Are Welcome.
Experience Deep Listening; Come Sit In, Come Play. Music in its live form is a relationship and exchange among the musicians playing and the listeners listening. In the presence of both players and listeners, great inspiration and a true feeling of vitality can be found.
Chianti Jazz Lounge, voted one of the great 150 jazz rooms in the world in Downbeat Magazine’s 2011 International Venue Guide, and the North Shore Jazz Project, a non-profit organization which has presented and continues to offer several inspirational school workshops along with standing room only events with top quality performances are sponsors of the jazz sessions along with Barbara Alex, organizer and host. The Live Jazz Sessions were created to support a community of all ages, of professional and non- professional musicians and to provide a stage for education, growth, experimentation, performance, and networking
