The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is delighted to report that the first Cape Ann Home & Garden Show, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 8 and 9, at the Gloucester High School Field House, is a complete sell-out! From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, Show patrons will have the opportunity to explore the exhibits of close to 90 companies and to discuss home and garden issues with the professionals.
A full schedule of lectures and demonstrations is planned for the two days, highlighted by nationally syndicated radio personality Paul Parent and Bruce Irving, the former Producer of the PBS television series “This Old House” and “Ask This Old House’. Other confirmed show highlights are on-site radio reports by North Shore 104.9, McDonald’s sampling of Newman’s Own Organics Coffees, opportunities to meet with representatives from the Gloucester Building Inspector’s office and the Board of Health, an appearance by Ms. Massachusetts, Katey McMahon, and hourly door prize drawings for over $5,000 worth of home and garden related products.
Tickets are $3.00 per person and are available at the Chamber office or at the show entrance. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Parking is free.
