More Precious than Gold

More Precious than Gold, an hour-length film about the early settlement of Gloucester: 1600-1775, will be shown at the Cape Ann Historical Museum on both Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The film was written and directed by Shep Abbot, videographer and director of Artspace, a non-profit art center in Gloucester.

Screenings will be held Saturday, September 2, from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon and Sunday, September 3, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The film is free with the cost of admission to the Museum.

The Cape Ann Historical Museum is located on 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. The Museum is closed on Monday, September 4. Admission is $6.50 for adults, $6.00 for Seniors and $4.50 for students.
