Museum presents The Art of Gossip

Museum presents The Art of Gossip
Saturday, December 2 at 3:00 p.m.

Stephanie Buck, the Archivist/Librarian at the Cape Ann Historical Museum, will present a lively lecture based on letters from Gloucester residents from the 1800s. Buck will explore how the information found in letters written between family and friends adds warmth, pathos, and humor to the dry facts in the record books. Come listen to a little fun, a little scandal, and get a little glimpse of life in Gloucester in the 1800s. The lecture is free and open to the public.
