Music at Eden’s Edge to perform at Cape Ann Historical Museum
Cape Ann’s resident chamber music ensemble, Music at Eden’s Edge, will present a concert at Cape Ann Historical Museum on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. as part of its Summer Chamber Music Series. European Roots, American September celebrates the artistic coming of age in America and features Beethoven’s Archduke Trio, as well as works by American composers John Knowles Paine and Arthur Foote, and the deft French musical hand of Lili Boulanger. The Museum will open at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the performance so that audience members will have the opportunity to visit the Museum’s special summer exhibition Fitz Henry Lane & Mary Blood Mellen: Old Mysteries and New Discoveries.
Admission for this performance is $22.00 per person or $18.00 for Museum members/seniors/students. Seats can be reserved by calling the Museum at 978-283-0455. The Cape Ann Historical Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $6.50 adults, $6.00 seniors, $4.50 students, children under 6 and Museum members are free.
