Meet Me at the Museum

The Cape Ann Museum invites home-school students ages 6-12 to join us for Meet Me at the Museum on Thursday, November 18, 2010. This free program will focus on our newest exhibit: Presence/Absence: New Works by Bruce Herman. Young At Art

The Cape Ann Museum invites children and families to experience Young at Art at the Cape Ann Museum. Young at Art will meet on Thursday, November 11 , 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Young at Art is a program for 3 to 5 year olds accompanied by an adult. Each session includes a story, an exploration of a gallery in the museum, and an art project or activity. This program will focus on our newest exhibit: Presence/Absence: New Works by Bruce Herman. Family Fun Free Days

A drop in program for families, Family fun day includes free admission for family members all day, family gallery guides, art and history activities in the education room, and light refreshments served throughout the day. Saturday, November 13 the focus of the activities will be our newest exhibit: Presence/Absence: New Works by Bruce Herman.

Saturday Showcase

11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 6, 2010. Jim and Maggi Dalton present songs, stories, and games of 1930s America. This program is sponsored by the Goldhirsch Foundation. This program is free and open to the public.

The Cape Ann Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The museum is closed during the month of February, on Mondays, and major holidays. Admission is $8.00 adults, $6.00 Cape Ann residents, seniors, students. Children under 12 and Museum members are free. The second Saturday of each month is Family Free Day.
