The Red Sox foundation is selling raffle tickets to win an authentic 2007 World Series Ring at Woodman’s of Essex from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on this Saturday June 28th!

Red Sox World Series Ring Raffle gives fans chance to win genuine World Series rings, or a Red Sox Special Edition Volvo C30. Net proceeds benefit the Red Sox Foundation.

This year’s Ring Raffle follows the enormously successful 2005 Ring Raffle, which was launched following the Red Sox’ 2004 World Championship win. The 2005 raffle marked the first time a championship team offered the symbol of their victory to fans as a way to support charitable programs.

The first nine eligible Raffle Ticket winners will receive genuine 2007 World Series rings identical in every way to those presented to Red Sox players on the 2007 World Series Championship team – the same make, model, materials and jewels. The rings are manufactured by Jostens.

The Raffle drawing of the ten winning ticket numbers will be held on Friday July 11th and will be televised live on NESN. The ten winners will have until noon on July 17th to present their winning tickets to the Red Sox Foundation for authentication. The nine World Series rings and the limited edition Volvo C30 will be presented to this year’s raffle winners in a special pre-game ceremony before the Red Sox vs. New York Yankees game at Fenway Park on Saturday July 26th.
