RELIEF FUNDS ESTABLISHED TO AID ROCKPORT FIRE VICTIMS
Two families in Rockport lost their homes to the devastating fire at Twin Light Circle this past Sunday. The remains of the building are in the process of being torn down as all was destroyed. In essence, all they escaped with were their lives and the clothes on their backs.
Two accounts were set up earlier this week at the Rockport National Bank, “The McNiff Relief Fund” and “The Davis Relief Fund”, for those wishing to give aid and provide comfort to these families. People can send contributions to either or both of these funds (the bank will split a donor’s check if requested). Donations may be mailed or delivered in person to Rockport National Bank, 16 Main St. (PO Box 90), Rockport, MA 01966, (t) 978-546-3411.
Both families have lost everything. The McNiffs are a family of five: Keith and Catherine and their three children, Patrick, age 15, Daniel, age 11, and Rosie, age 9. Bill & Joyce Davis are a working couple, and hoping to retire in the next few years.
Non-financial contributions for the McNiffs can be sent to Keith and Catherine McNiff, 8 Marbee Rd., Rockport, MA 01966; for the Davises, to Bill and Joyce Davis, (care of Liz Mackney), 7 Twin Light Circle, Rockport, MA 01966.
