Rockport Cultural Council Holds Information Session for Grant Proposals

ROCKPORT CULTURAL COUNCIL will hold an information session on Wednesday, September 19th from 7 to 8 PM at the Peggy Brenner Room of the Rockport Public Library. Attendance is encouraged to learn about funding opportunities for individuals and organizations to receive funding for cultural activities in the community, including exhibits, festivals, short-term artisit residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures.

Proposals are due October 15, 2007. This year, the Rockport Cultural Council will distribute about $4000 in grants.

Application forms, specific guidelines and and more information about the Local Cultural Council Program are available on the web at www.mass-culture.org/lcc_public.asp. Application forms can also be picked up in the Town Clerk’s office at the Rockport Town Hall, Rockport Town Library, and the Rockport Art Association.
