2008 National Juried Exhibit
Each year the Rocky Neck Art Colony hosts a national juried exhibit, designed to bring innovative, quality art to Rocky Neck. This year the theme is Shapes of Emotion. Juried by Brian Allen, Director, Addison Gallery of American Art, Phillips Academy, Andover, MA, the show will be on display at the Bryan Gallery at 53 Rocky Neck Avenue from May 23 to June 15. The application deadline is April 2, 2008.

2008 Residency Program
The Rocky Neck Art Colony is offering three one-month residencies for visual artists in Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA. The Residency includes includes waterfront studio/gallery/living space, press coverage, and access to a rich cultural community.

Nights on the Neck
The Art Colony continues its popular Nights on the Neck program, presenting short programs of music, dance, lectures, readings and various forms of entertainment along with gallery receptions from 5-9 pm on the first Thursday of every month, June through October. The Avery-Mann Gallery
Used part time as the Rocky Neck Artist-in-Residence studio/gallery, this spacious live/work studio/gallery is located in a prime location on the Madfish Wharf. It features a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, ample studio/gallery and sleeping loft. See photos.
It is available for short-term rental during the following periods

August 28 – September 1, 2008
October 10 – 13, 2008
