seARTS Sails with Celtic, Folk & Jazz Aboard the Lannon

Celtic folk singer Michael O’Leary and the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (seARTS) present a musical, sunset sail aboard the Schooner Thomas E. Lannon on Saturday, September 29 from 5-7 p.m.

O’Leary has gathered a number of well known local musicians for a song-filled, sunset sail aboard Gloucester’s legendary 65 foot schooner. The $50 donation will benefit seARTS.

“I’ve hosted many Celtic music cruises aboard the Schooner and felt the time was right to invite some of my colleagues to join in for a benefit,” explained O’Leary. “We’re all members of seARTS and we want to help promote the arts on Cape Ann.”

Performers include virtuoso guitarist Ken Bonfield, singer-songwriter Mel Green, Karen Ristuben, and favorite local duets Janice Fullman & Will Hunt and Bobbie Wayne & Dan Mozell.

Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.searts.org or by calling 978.281.1222.

Boarding begins at 4:45 p.m. at Seven Seas Wharf next to the Gloucester House Restaurant on Rogers Street (Route 127). Clam Chowder and an array of hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the Gloucester House Restaurant. Cash Bar provided by the Lannon.
