Museum presents drop-in activities for families: Second Saturday
The Cape Ann Museum is pleased to present a monthly drop-in program for families on the second Saturday of each month between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Stop by the Education Room on Saturday, September 13 and try your hand at soap sculptures, an activity inspired by the current exhibition Carved & Gilded: The Sculpture of James T. McClellan (1910 – 2005). Second Saturday programs are free with the cost of admission and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Cape Ann Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is closed on Mondays, and on major holidays. Admission is $8.00 adults, $6.00 Cape Ann residents, students and seniors. Children under 12 and Museum members are free. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
