Special Events to Honor Israel Horovitz

The Gloucester Stage Company is holding a series of special events to honor retiring Artistic Director Israel Horovitz.

  • Monday, July 24, 8:00 p.m., two time Tony Award-winner, Judith Ivey, in her acclaimed one-woman show Women on Fire, bounces brilliantly among a dozen different roles about contemporary women from diverse backgrounds. Reception with Ms. Ivey and Mr. Horovitz included (at the theatre).
  • Sunday July 30, 4:00 p.m., film and television star, Peter Boyle, in a reading of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons (at the theatre).
  • Sunday July 30, 7:00 p.m., Peter Boyle is joined by hosts Eric and Emily Haggman at their breathtaking, historic Magnolia home, along with actress Lindsay Crouse, the GSC staff, and Board of Directors for an ocean-side, sunset gathering that promises to be one for the memory book.
  • Tuesday, August 1, 8:00 p.m., Oscar nominee and broadway star, Jill Clayburgh is joined by GSC favorite Paula Plum in a reading of Wendy Wasserstein’s The Sisters Rosenweig. Reception with Ms. Clayburgh and Mr. Horovitz included (at the theatre).
