Cape Ann Guide Arrives

The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the semi carrying the Cape Ann Guide has arrived at our warehouse here in Gloucester (the former Birdseye Building). 100,000 copies of the annual magazine will be distributed this year. The Cape Ann Guide is a 100-page resource and visitor guide highlighting the best of Cape Ann. The publication features interesting local stories, spectacular photography, maps, train and tide schedules. Some of Cape Ann’s best writers and photographers participated in this year’s issue.

‘Our intent is to have best-in-class publications for the area,’ said Bob Hastings, Executive Director of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce. ‘The Cape Ann Guide, in conjunction with its sister piece, the Cape Ann Visitor Map, highlights Gloucester, Rockport, Essex and Manchester-by-the-Sea in a professional and pleasing manner. We believe that these publications compare favorably with any chamber publication in the country.’

Members may stop by the Chamber in either Gloucester or Rockport and pick up magazines for distribution at their place of business. Magazines are boxed in 25# cartons and available at the Chamber warehouse dock for bulk orders. The Chamber wishes to thank Mac Bell with providing storage space for this year’s publications.

The magazine will be featured at the annual Tourism Mixer that is to be held at Periwinkles in Essex at 5:00, Wednesday, May 19.
