The Motif #1 Story
May 13th, The Fish Shack, 5:30-8:00 PM
Professional Photographer and Historian Les Bartlett will present the history of Rockport’s most famous landmark at an outreach/fundraiser dinner on Wednesday, May 13th at the Fish Shack Restaurant, Rockport, MA.
Get yourself into the spirit of Rockport’s Motif #1 Days celebration (May 16-17) by attending this fundraiser event for Cape Ann TV, which is a cooperative effort of the Fish Shack Restaurant, The Sandy Bay Historical Society, The Rockport Chamber of Commerce, and the Rockport Festivals Steering Committee. Les Bartlett’s fascinating talk will take place between 6:45 and 7:15 PM. Following Les will be Chelsea Berry, a Cape Ann singer and songwriter (by way of Chugiak, Alaska), who will share some of her favorite songs.
Admission for the event will be $15 and includes a complete buffet dinner with Cash Bar. The Fish Shack Restaurant is donating a portion of their dinner proceeds to Cape Ann TV to support programs, community service broadcasts, and to help provide production equipment for our local access television station.
While reservations are not required, it would help our planning if you were to call The Fish Shack (978.546.6667) by Tuesday May 12th..
