The Pipers Are Coming To Rockport

The Rockport Legion Band and The Creagan More Pipes and Drums will present a combined concert on Sunday, August 22, 2010. This free, family-friendly program will be held on the bandstand at Rockport’s Back Beach and begins at 7:00 P.M. This event was highly successful last year, and the band suggests arriving a little earlier than usual to obtain good seating. As always, listeners are also reminded to bring their own chairs or blankets, and that refreshments will be available.

This concert is sponsored in part by a grant from the Rockport Cultural Council, a local agency, which is a part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
